SEO Pages

Do you want to improve your visibility in Google Search? That’s what SEO Pages are for!

Optimizing for search is an important online marketing tactic that pays dividends over time as your content ranks higher and is more easily discoverable by consumers looking for products and services like yours. SEO Pages dramatically improve your website’s content so that the right people can find you in the moments that matter.

In addition to the technical considerations of making sure your site is searchable and well structured, SEO copywriting is key.

What Is On-Page SEO?

Search engines like Google are looking at the expertise, authority, and trust of each web page as they evaluate whether it is the best answer for searchers’ immediate needs. On-page SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is how you demonstrate these qualities “on the page” to search engines and searchers alike.

On-page SEO does two important things for individual pages:

  1. It improves the quality and relevance of content that is visible to people reading your pages.
  2. It helps search engines like Google better understand the relevance of that page to a relevant searcher’s query.

On-page SEO is different from off-page SEO, which refers to the links and references to your page from other websites and social media.

Why is On-Page SEO Important?

On-page SEO is how we create web pages that are successful at bringing in organic traffic and are ranked high by search engines.

Businesses might be tempted to drive traffic to their websites through paid ads, social media, and other web platforms. However, it’s search engines that do a much better job and they bring in organic traffic. People trust organic search results more than paid ads.

On-page SEO is a marketing investment that continues to pay dividends over time, while paid ads need constant funding. On-page SEO provides many positive outcomes:

  • helps search engines understand your content, then properly index and display it
  • increases organic traffic
  • improves search result rankings
  • ensures the right searchers are finding your site
  • keeps searchers staying on your website longer
  • helps searchers find information quicker
  • allows searchers to better interact with your brand
  • provides a great user experience
  • increases your revenue

What are On-Page Ranking Factors for SEO?

There are many elements on your page that factor into search rankings. Here are the most important:

1. Content

High-quality content on a web page is the top determiner of a search result position. In the past, the primary focus was on keywords placed in different parts of the page. Today, relevance and semantics are key. Google’s algorithms are getting better at understanding what people are really looking for when they type a query and can show continuously more relevant search results.

From the searcher’s standpoint, good content involves expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness. Your content should align with people’s search expectations and provide in-depth information that is specific, unique, relevant, and up to date. It should answer real questions that people are actually asking and it should offer solutions to real-life problems.

From the search engine’s standpoint, good content needs to be easy to crawl and navigate. If the search engine can’t tell what’s on the page, why would it choose your page as the best answer for a searcher’s needs?

2. Keywords

Keywords are very specific words and phrases that identify the topics of web pages, but also help your content stand apart from your competition. Ideally, they should match what people type into search engines. The placement of keywords is also important because Google uses this to understand how closely connected your content is to the topic at hand.

It’s important to determine which strategic keywords you should target in your website’s content, and how to create content that helps both users and search engines. One of the first (and on-going) steps should be keyword research. This helps you understand how people are searching for the kind of content and answers you are hoping to provide.

Each page on your website can be built around one keyword. These kinds of pages are called SEO pages because each of them is optimized around a single keyword.

3. HTML elements & Schema markup

HTML elements affect the way content displays and also help search engines understand that content. Schema markup is like a tagging system for your on-page content and may help improve your visibility in Google by triggering rich snippets.

  • A title tag is the title of a web page. Title tags are displayed on SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) as the clickable headline for the result and are important for usability, SEO, and sharing on social media. The title tag of your web page should be an accurate and concise description of your page’s content. It should also use specific and unique keywords. Google usually displays the first 50–60 characters of a title tag, so it’s best to keep your title under 50 characters.
  • A meta description is an HTML attribute that briefly summarizes a web page with up to about 155 characters. Search engines will show the meta description in search results if it contains a searched-for phrase.
  • Headlines and header tags are titles for sections of your pages that help organize your content, make it easier to read, and help searchers find the right content quickly. They are also HTML elements that help search engines locate your keywords.

4. Image optimization

Optimized images will help your web pages load quicker (which improves user experience) and they’ll show up on a Google Image Search (which can boost your page rankings). Images should be relevant to your content and be supported by descriptive titles and alt text, which also helps people with visual impairment or slow loading times understand the image content is it isn’t actually visible to them.

5. User engagement

Users will have a good experience if your pages load quickly, the content is easy to read, they can quickly find the information they are looking for, and they can intuitively navigate to other relevant pages within your site. If any of these factors are missing, searchers will abandon the page, which obviously affects your conversion rate.

You want your online visitors to stay on your pages, interact with your content, and even share it on social media or create links to it. These are all great boosts to your page rankings.

Google factors in user engagement when ranking websites. Google cares what users think about its effectiveness in search results and if your page repeatedly doesn’t give the searcher the right answers or they abandon the page quickly, that reflects poorly on Google. The result: lower ranking for you.

What is an SEO page?

SEO Pages

An SEO page is written, designed, and optimized to improve your company’s visibility in search for a specific topic or keyword phrase. The goal is to drive traffic for very specific content and turn searchers into leads and paying customers.

Our SEO Pages begin either with an audit of the page you would like to improve, or with a fresh look at the topic/phrase for which you would like to rank. Ideally, this phrase is two to four keywords in length; it could be ‘womens clothing staten island’ or ‘personal injury lawyer texas’ or ‘best e-commerce web host.’

We use a powerful semantic SEO tool with Google Knowledge Graph integration to analyze the topic, associated keywords, SERP results, competitor content structure and optimization, and more.

From there, we build an SEO Page completely customized to your unique place in the market, designed to demonstrate your relevance to that specific topic. SEO Pages include:

  • On-page SEO audit with topics and SERPs (competitor) analysis
  • Professional copywriting by University-educated, native English writers
  • Optimization of meta tags, subheadings, copy, image including alt text, internal linking, and calls to action to improve both your search rankings and conversion
  • Formatting and proofing for publication
  • Post-optimization SEO score card

Why Do You Need SEO pages?

Optimized content is absolutely critical to your ability to appear in search results when motivated consumers looking for products and services like yours. Our SEO pages are built on our advanced understanding of your audience’s needs, intent, and other options. There is no guesswork here!

    What is SEO Copywriting?

SEO copywriting combines advanced knowledge of how search engines index and surface information, as well as how humans seek out and retain that information. If you write only for machines, your customers will not have a great experience with your content. On the other hand, you can write exceptional content all day long and if no one can find it, what value does that have to your business?

SEO copywriting should be high-quality, relevant, and enjoyable for people to read, but also easily findable by search engines.

Why Should I Get an On-Page SEO Audit Review?

Our SEO page audit gives us in-depth insight into how the content on your page is optimized and performing against your top competitors in search for any given keyword phrase:

      • It enables us to understand the readability and authority of your content so we can then identify your most lucrative optimization opportunities.
      • It identifies if your existing content is achieving your goals and ROI.
      • It checks to see if your content is still accurate.
      • It helps us decide what types of content are working best for you.

Using AI-powered auditing technology, we can understand at a very granular level what searchers are looking for in Google results and whether or not your content meets those needs. Our SEO page audit also gives you a benchmark by which to measure the success of our work together.

How Much Revenue Does SEO Really Produce?

        SEO page for review

A robust analytics and measurement strategy will ensure that you understand exactly how searchers are converting and what that means to your company and bottom-line revenue.

SEO has a direct influence here. SEO ensures that your pages come up in organic searches and works hard to put them in the top 10 search results where 90% of people click. Your organic traffic will increase but we use analytics to measure which keywords are leading searchers to your site. SEO uses this information to lead your target customers to your site, people who will not only buy your product or service but will engage with your brand by commenting or sharing on social media.

This goes hand-in-hand with user experience. Google offers the free Google Analytics tool to help companies see how people respond to your pages. A good experience is rewarded by Google with a high ranking. Your customers reward you by buying more and sharing the experience by word of mouth and online reviews (yet another SEO factor).

What about negative experiences? Those are also shared with others, especially on social media and online reviews, both places you do not want to see negative reviews. 88% of people say they generally trust online reviews, which really makes it important that you focus on creating positive reviews and fix all your negative reviews if possible.

In a recent study from Forrester Research, a well-designed user interface could raise your website’s conversion rate by up to a 200%, and a better UX design could yield conversion rates up to 400%.

Those are incredible numbers for such a simple thing as making small improvements to your web pages! If you are not yet set up to measure and attribute both online and offline sales to your various digital channels, we can recommend reputable experts to help you get there. This is key to understanding the true ROI of your search investments.

          Why Hire an SEO Expert?

Your presence in organic search is your digital storefront. It may be the first interaction a prospective customer or client has with your brand. You only have seconds to make a first impression and we help companies make the most of that opportunity.

We’ve all heard stories of companies plagued by low-quality links and other “black hat” SEO schemes that have landed them in hot water. Those types of quick-hit SEO services may give you a boost in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) in the short term but can result in long-term damage to your brand.

Using the services of a reputable and proven SEO expert is a long-term investment in your company’s presence in one of your most lucrative channels: search.
